User Experience Designer

Position Overview

We are seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to join our team on a contractual basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative professional with strong design fundamentals and hands-on experience in creating exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for web and mobile applications
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using Figma
• Conduct user research and translate insights into design solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and stakeholders
• Develop and maintain design systems and style guides
• Ensure consistency across all digital touchpoints
• Iterate designs based on user feedback and usability testing
• Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders

• 3+ years of professional experience

  in UI/UX Design

• Expert proficiency in Figma

  (design, prototyping, and collaboration features)
• Strong understanding of

  core design principles

  including:
• Typography and color theory
• Visual hierarchy and composition
• Grid systems and spacing
• Responsive design principles
• Accessibility standards (WCAG)
• Solid grasp of user-centered design methodology
• Experience with design systems and component libraries
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design process
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

• Experience with other design tools (Adobe XD, Sketch, etc.)
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS basics
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology
• Experience with user testing and analytics tools
• Understanding of interaction design and micro-interactions
• Knowledge of design handoff tools (Zeplin, Figma Dev Mode)
