About the role: - US Payroll Specialist

Location: - Smartworks Logix Cyber Park, Tower D, 10th Floor, Sector 62, Noida U.P

• Ensure timecard status is checked and follow up emails are sent for pending/missing timesheets.
• Obtain supervisory approval of timecard discrepancies.
• Accuracy of New Hire details in payroll system.
• Update tax information for new hires based on the submitted tax forms.
• Maintains payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data.
• Update payroll records by entering changes in exemptions.
• Generate reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, disability, and non-taxable wages and uploading the details in software.
• Validate payroll liabilities by calculating employee federal and state income and social security taxes and employer's social security.
• Resolves payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
• Maintains payroll operations by following policies and procedures.
• Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
• Perform payroll and tax audits within timelines

Any Additional Job Details:

• UG – Any Graduate – Accounting Specialization
• Experience in Payroll. US Payroll preferred. Candidates with min 2-3yrs work experience in a similar role mandatory.
• Preference to associates having hands on experience in handling US Payroll Operation. AR/AP, MIS profiled could be considered. Candidate should have excellent analytical skill
• Excellent Mathematical Skills and attention to detail
• Competent with MS Excel, and familiar with any Payroll Software
• Ability to Work on a Deadline and multitask in high-volume high-speed environment.
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in night shifts
