Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced US Payroll Specialist to join our dynamic Human Resources Outsourcing (HRO) team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of US payroll, leveraging their expertise in SAP and ADP systems. This role is critical in ensuring compliance and delivering exceptional payroll services to our clients and their employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-End US Payroll Processing:

    Manage and execute the complete lifecycle of US payroll for multiple clients, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • System Expertise:

    Utilize HCM tools, primarily

    SAP

    and

    ADP

    , for processing payroll, managing data, and generating reports.
  • Stakeholder Support:

    Act as a primary point of contact for HR partners, employees, and managers regarding payroll inquiries, providing resolutions through designated ticketing tools like ServiceNow.
  • Data Management & Compliance:

    Maintain and audit payroll data, handle wage attachments, tax withholdings, and year-end reporting (W-2s).
  • Process Improvement:

    Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement best practices within the US payroll domain.
  • Reporting & Analysis:

    Prepare and distribute standard and ad-hoc payroll reports related to project activities, performance, and financial issues.
  • Collaboration:

    Work closely with other HR functions (Time & Attendance, Benefits, Recruiting) to ensure seamless data flow and process integration.

Qualifications & Skills (Mandatory):

  • Total Experience:

    2 to 10 years of hands-on experience in

    US Payroll Processing

    .
  • Technical Proficiency:

    Proficient in

    MS Office (especially PowerPoint for presentations)

    and extensive experience with

    SAP

    and/or

    ADP

    payroll systems.
  • Domain Knowledge:

    In-depth understanding of US payroll laws, taxes, and compliance requirements.
  • Process Skills:

    Strong knowledge of HR processes, specifically within the Payroll domain, and experience in escalation handling.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have):

  • Experience with other HCM tools like ADP, SAP.
  • Exposure to other HRO domains such as Time & Attendance, Workforce Administration (WFA), or Recruiting.
  • A certification in US Payroll (e.g., APA certification).

Shift & Location:

  • This is a full-time, work-from-office position.
  • Shift Timings:

    5:30 PM to 3:00 AM IST (to provide support during US business hours).
