Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a US Mortgage Underwriter located in Ahmedabad. The US Mortgage Underwriter will be responsible for evaluating and verifying loan application documents, assessing applicant creditworthiness, and ensuring all mortgage loan files meet regulatory and company guidelines. Daily tasks include reviewing financial documents, analyzing risk, and making final approval or rejection decisions on mortgage loans. The role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to adhere to strict deadlines while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in the Mortgage Industry, Mortgages, and Mortgage Underwriting
• Strong Analytical Skills and knowledge of Underwriting practices
• Excellent attention to detail and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work efficiently in an on-site setting
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently
• Prior experience with financial regulations and compliance is a plus
