Job Summary / Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform detailed

  due diligence reviews

  of underwriting documents and quality control reviews of

  Non-Qualified Mortgage (Non-QM)

  loan files.
• Ensure compliance with

  company guidelines, investor requirements, and federal/state regulations

  .
• Conduct

  loan file reviews

  focusing on credit, income, collateral, and regulatory compliance.
• Identify and document findings, red flags, and potential risks.
• Collaborate with underwriters, auditors, and compliance teams to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards.
• Prepare reports summarizing review findings and recommendations.
• Maintain thorough documentation of each file and ensure timely completion of assigned reviews.

Requirements

• 35+ years of experience in

  US Mortgage Underwriting

  or

  Non-QM Diligence

  .
• In-depth knowledge of

  Non-QM loan products

  and underwriting standards.
• Strong understanding of

  federal and state mortgage regulations

  .
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and documentation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment.

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in

  Finance, Business Administration, or related field

  .
• Certifications in

  Mortgage Underwriting

  or

  Compliance

  preferred.
