About the Role

US Accountant with strong expertise in Sage 300 (Accpac)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities using

  Sage 300 (Accpac)

• Handle

  General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Bank Reconciliations

• Prepare

  monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements

• Ensure compliance with

  US GAAP

  and internal accounting policies
• Perform

  month-end and year-end close

  processes
• Support

  budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

• Assist with

  audit preparation

  and respond to auditor queries
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Collaborate with US clients and internal teams during US business hours
• Identify process improvements and optimize Sage 300 workflows

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in

  Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 2+ years of US accounting experience

  , preferably with US clients

• Strong hands-on experience with Sage 300 (Accpac)

  – mandatory
• Sound knowledge of

  US GAAP

  and accounting best practices
• Experience with

  month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting

• Proficiency in

  Excel

  (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas)
• Excellent written and verbal

  English communication skills

• Ability to work independently in a remote setup

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA / CPA-eligible or equivalent certification
• Experience working with

  multiple entities or consolidations

  in Sage 300
• Exposure to

  sales tax, payroll, or multi-currency accounting

• Prior experience with

  US CPA firms or accounting service providers
