Key Responsibilities

Design and implement intuitive, responsive user interfaces for both web and mobile platforms
Collaborate closely with product managers and backend developers to translate user needs into functional front-end solutions
Develop and maintain scalable front-end architecture using modern frameworks
Integrate front-end components with RESTful APIs and backend services
Conduct user research, usability testing, and iterate designs based on feedback
Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using tools like Figma
Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and accessibility
Ensure cross-browser compatibility and adherence to responsive design standards
Maintain and enhance UI consistency and design systems across products
Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices

Tech Stack Requirements

Core Front-End Skills:

HTML, CSS (including Tailwind)
JavaScript
React or Next.js

Back-End & Integration:

Python
Django & Django REST Framework

Design & Version Control Tools:

Figma (for wireframes, prototypes, and mockups)
Git (version control)

Other Requirements

Strong portfolio demonstrating UI/UX design skills and full-stack project contributions
Ability to design and implement user interfaces end-to-end
Experience integrating front-end components with RESTful APIs and backend services
Knowledge of accessibility standards and responsive design principles
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Passion for building tools that integrate diverse data streams and support visualization and decision-making
