UI/UX Designer

About the role

We’re hiring a Senior UI/UX Designer to own the journey from problem framing to pixel-perfect delivery across complex, data-heavy products. You’ll partner with product and engineering to translate business goals into clear FRDs, shape the system architecture with a UX lens, and ship elegant, accessible interfaces at speed.

What you’ll own

• Functional Requirements Documentation:

  Draft FRDs with user stories, acceptance criteria, and initial wireframes that map core flows and edge cases.

• System Architecture Overview:

  Collaborate with the Lead Engineer/Architect to document modules, component interactions, and data flows with explicit coverage of the UI/UX layer, states, and error handling.

• Low-Fidelity Design:

  Rapid sketches and wireframes that clarify IA, navigation, and task flows for quick validation.

• High-Fidelity Design:

  Production-level screens aligned to brand, type scale, color, and spacing tokens, with responsive and platform-specific specs.

• Interactive Prototypes:

  Clickable prototypes for stakeholder demos and usability tests; iterate based on evidence.

• Final UI Assets & Handoff:

  Dev-ready assets, redlines, and specifications; maintain components, tokens, and usage guidelines in a design system for consistency and speed.

Day-to-day

  : stakeholder interviews, user interviews, quick usability tests, and analytics reviews.
• Partner with engineering to align on

  feasibility, states, and performance constraints

  concise specs

  in Notion/Confluence and manage delivery in Jira.
• Champion

  accessibility

  and

  design quality

  through reviews and checklists.
• Evolve and govern our

  design system

  across web and mobile.

You’ll thrive here if you have

• 3–7 years of professional UI/UX experience with a track record of shipped web and mobile products.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating

  end-to-end ownership

  of FRDs, low-fi to high-fi design, prototypes, and clean developer handoff.
• Command of

  Figma

  (components, variants, Auto Layout, tokens) and fluency with FigJam/Miro.
• Comfort with data-rich UIs, dashboards, and complex workflows; you turn constraints into clarity.
• Evidence-based decision-making using usability tests and product analytics.
• Working knowledge of

  WCAG 2.1 AA

  , keyboard navigation, focus management, and color contrast.
• Bonus: enterprise SaaS, public-sector platforms, FinTech/RegTech, AI-assisted UX, or IoT interfaces.
