Transport Planner

Position: Urban Transport Planner

Location: Ahmedabad

To support the Sustainable Urban Transport Planning function with a primary focus on developing and managing public transport, non-motorized transport, and e-mobility initiatives.

This role requires strong technical expertise in transport planning and analytics, along with the ability to manage end-to-end project delivery in collaboration with government and institutional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop high-quality technical deliverables, including reports, presentations, analytical tools, and models.
• Plan, coordinate, and deliver sustainable urban transport projects for local and state governments.
• Oversee data collection, database management, and transport systems analysis to support project outcomes.
• Liaise with clients, city stakeholders, and project partners to ensure effective technical coordination and timely project delivery.
• Monitor project milestones to ensure compliance with agreed technical and financial standards.

Looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field, and a Master’s degree in Transport Planning or Engineering.
• 5–8 years of professional experience in sustainable transport planning, including e-mobility projects.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in VBA, Python, or R, and proficiency in Power BI or Tableau.
• Demonstrated experience in data analysis, database management, and project delivery; prior PMU experience is an advantage.
• Excellent written communication, client liaison, and stakeholder engagement skills.
