Job Description:

Shree Niketan, one of Chennai's fastest-growing New Age educational groups, is looking for a dedicated and experienced Transport Manager to ensure the safe and efficient transportation of students from our new Nolambur campus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the entire school transport fleet, including route planning, vehicle maintenance schedules, and compliance with all safety and RTO regulations.

• Recruit, train, and supervise drivers and transport staff.

• Optimize bus routes for efficiency and punctuality.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for parents regarding all transportation-related queries and concerns.

• Implement and monitor safety protocols, including GPS tracking and vehicle inspections.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a transport or logistics management role, preferably with a school or a large organization.

• In-depth knowledge of vehicle management, RTO rules, and safety regulations.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a large team of drivers.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in using computers and transport management software/tools.

• Willingness to be on-call and work flexible hours, including weekends when required.
