Transport Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Fleet Management: Oversee the maintenance, repair, and replacement of the vehicle fleet to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Logistics Coordination: Plan and coordinate the routing and scheduling of deliveries to meet customer demands efficiently.
• Compliance: Ensure all transport activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Budget Management: Prepare and manage the transportation budget, monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measures where possible.
• Staff Supervision: Recruit, train, and supervise transport staff, including drivers and administrative personnel.
• Safety and Security: Implement and enforce safety protocols and security measures to protect drivers, vehicles, and cargo.
• Performance Monitoring: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of transport operations.
• Vendor Relations: Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, vendors, and service providers.
• Customer Service: Resolve any transportation-related issues and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 13 years in transportation or logistics management.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Skills:
• Strong leadership and managerial skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyse and interpret data to make informed decisions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹13,445.15 - ₹100,000.00 per month
