Position Title: Transport Manager

Base Location: Jalandhar (Night Shift and willing to travel as required)

Key Responsibility Areas (KRA):-

Vehicle Maintenance & Compliance

1. Ensure timely servicing and maintenance of all company-owned vehicles to minimize breakdowns and prolong vehicle life.

2. Maintain a detailed log of maintenance schedules, repairs, and associated costs.

3. Ensure compliance with RTO regulations, insurance, pollution checks, and vehicle documentation.

Ensure all legal and statutory compliances are met concerning vehicle operations.

Manpower Handling & Coordination

1. Supervise and manage drivers, helpers, and other transport staff effectively.

2. Allocate daily duties, shift rosters, and routes to the manpower.

3. Ensure discipline, punctuality, and professional conduct among vehicle staff.

4. Monitor driver performance, fuel efficiency, and behaviour on the road.

5. Conduct regular briefings, safety training, and performance evaluations.

Fleet Tracking & Operational Oversight

1. Monitor truck movement in real-time using GPS or other tracking systems.

2. Ensure timely dispatch and arrival of vehicles as per operational schedule.

3. Act as a single point of contact for communicating truck arrival and departure times.

4. Prepare daily/weekly reports on vehicle usage, delivery timelines, delays, and any incidents.

5. Proactively manage issues such as vehicle delays, route diversions, or emergencies.

Key Skills & Requirements:

1. Proven experience in fleet or transport management.

2. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

3. Familiarity with GPS tracking systems and transport management software.

4. Good communication and interpersonal skills.

5. Flexibility in working hours and travel.

* Preference experience candidate of same field, Package CTC 25000/- to CTC 35000/-

Qualification : Graduation/PG/Diploma
