Trainer

About the Role: The trainer will be responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs that enhance the skills, knowledge, and performance of our retail staff. The role requires someone who can engage, motivate, and develop employees to deliver excellent customer service, improve sales, and ensure operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

? Conduct training programs for supermarket staff including cashiers, floor associates, department managers, and support staff.

? Design and deliver modules on customer service, product knowledge, store operations, sales techniques, hygiene & safety, and compliance.

? Develop training materials, manuals, and e-learning content tailored to supermarket operations.

? Assess training needs in collaboration with store managers and HR. ? Conduct onboarding/orientation sessions for new hires.

? Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and on-the-job performance.

? Provide coaching and mentoring support to staff to improve productivity and service quality.

? Stay updated with retail industry trends, supermarket operations, and customer expectations.

? Maintain training records, reports, and feedback for management review.

Requirements & Qualifications:

? Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, HR, or a related field.

? Proven experience as a Trainer in the retail industry (preferably supermarkets/hypermarkets).

? Strong knowledge of retail operations, customer service standards, and sales techniques.

? Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

? Ability to design engaging and interactive training modules.

? Strong organizational and time-management skills.

? Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); exposure to e-learning tools is a plus.

? Fluency in English [and local language as per requirement].
