Job Description ROLE: Consultant or Associate Consultant Role Description Propose, configure, document and test business solution in SAP application according to the functional and technical requirements. Assesses, analyses, develops, documents and implements changes based on requests for change. Ability to build rapport with clients and maintain professionalism in communications with all levels of client stakeholders. Excellent communications and collaboration skills to provide and receive information relative to assigned projects. Reporting of project or task progress, risks, issues, dependencies and performance. Works independently to gather information, pose workarounds, carry out necessary research, and provide an indepth analysis to resolve production or application issues, customer requests and inquiries, escalating to a lead or manager when appropriate. Have a basic understanding of the project lifecycle and all phases. Engage with project team independently with minimal manager or leadership over site. PROBLEM MANAGEMENT Investigates problems in systems, processes and services. Assists with the implementation of agreed remedies and preventative measures. Provide basic to intermediate applications support and assistance for customer issues, severity and scope analysis of issues, inquiries and requests, maintaining ownership until resolution. Assesses, analyses, develops, documents and implements changes based on requests for change. Identifies and resolves problem issues in applications processes and services by following agreed procedures. Uses application management software and tools to collect agreed performance statistics. Carries out agreed applications maintenance tasks. Qualifications And Experience Should have 2 to 3 years SAP or Ariba experience Must have worked on at least 1 support project at various levels Must possess at least 1 end to end implementation experience Technical Skills Good level of understanding of all modules of SAP Ariba with expertise in at least 2 modules across Strategic Sourcing, Buying and Invoicing. Good level of understanding of Supplier Management, Sourcing, Contract Management, Procurement and Invoicing. Knowledge of SAP Ariba Suite and its integration. Working knowledge of SAP like MM, SD, logistics would be an added advantage. Excellent in documentation. Should be able to check SAP connect for knowledge articles, new releases and raise Service request. Behavioural And Soft Skills Proactive. Quest for Learning. Good Analytical Skills. Teamwork.
