Trainee Engineer- INFINET Projects

Summary:

Trainee Engineer will be supporting Network Projects

Resposibilities:

1)    Mangage Network Projects and assist respective functions 
2)    Research on various Networking concepts and related Technologies 3)    Gain domain of expertise, insights, and ideas by interacting with various internal and external parties 4)    Understanding Networking tools and its management 5)    Coordination with Netwrok Integrators, System Integrators and Service Providers related to incidents / feasibility / link delivery 6)    Maintain Inventory and trackers                     7)    Understand and follow SOPs (Standard Operating Process) to achieve end objectives 8)    Seek learning opportunities and feedback to increase own knowledge and skill using internal and external training resources. 9)    Work in a 24x7 rotational shifts for supporting and managing Network projects 10)    Assist in the implementation and configuration of network devices under the guidance of more experienced engineers. This could involve tasks such as physically setting up equipment, connecting cables, and basic device configuration. 11)    Responsible for assisting in basic troubleshooting activities. This could include verifying physical connectivity, checking network device status, and escalating issues to higher-level engineers for resolution. 12)    Contribute to maintaining network documentation. This involves updating network diagrams, recording changes in network configurations, and documenting troubleshooting procedures.  13)    Accurate and up-to-date documentation is essential for effective network management and future troubleshooting. 14)    Assist in network monitoring tasks, such as using monitoring tools to track network performance, availability, and utilization.   15)    Help in identifying any anomalies or performance issues and escalate them to senior team members for further analysis. 16)    Handle support tickets related to network issues. This involves receiving and logging user-reported network problems, performing initial investigations, and providing basic assistance or routing the tickets to appropriate team members for resolution. 17)    Focus on continuous learning and skill development.   18)    Would be expected to study and understand network fundamentals, gain familiarity with network equipment and technologies, and participate in training programs to improve their technical knowledge and skills. 19)    Work closely with other team members, including L1 and L2 support engineers and higher-level network engineers.   20)    Would collaborate on troubleshooting tasks, share knowledge and insights, and assist each other in resolving network issues.

Education :

B.E/ B.Tech, M.Tech/MCA (Computer/IT)

Knowledge :

1) Knowledge in Telecom / Networking  domain (OSI layer, Data Networks, TCP/IP) to apply their knowledge efficiently and work productively - Mandatory
2) Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills along with quick learner. - Mandatory 3) Knowledge in basic networking concepts like LAN & WAN - Desirable.

Certification:

1) CCNA - Desirable
2) ITIL Foundation - Desirable

Technical Skills :

1) MS Office - Desirable
