Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for leading the merchandising process for international and domestic clients, from development to delivery. Your main tasks will include handling buyer communications, product presentations, costing sheets, sampling trackers, sample approvals, and order follow-up. You will also need to liaise and coordinate with clients, design, sampling, production, and quality teams to ensure product feasibility, cost optimization, and timely execution. Managing the T&A (Time & Action) calendar to meet all deadlines will be crucial, as well as analyzing trends, customer preferences, and competitor activity to advise on product development. Additionally, you will participate in buyer meetings, presentations, and fairs when required and assist in resolving production-related issues effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the merchandising process from development to delivery for international and domestic clients. - Handle buyer communications, product presentations, costing sheets, sampling trackers, sample approvals, and order follow-up. - Liaise and coordinate with clients, design, sampling, production, and quality teams. - Manage the T&A (Time & Action) calendar to ensure all deadlines are met. - Analyze trends, customer preferences, and competitor activity to advise on product development. - Participate in buyer meetings, presentations, and fairs. - Resolve production-related issues including quality defects, delays, and supply chain disruptions. - Ensure compliance with client quality standards and certification requirements. - Coordinate with vendors, mills, and internal departments for fabric and trim sourcing. Qualifications Required: - Good knowledge of textiles and fabric construction (woven, knitted, printed, embroidered, etc.). - Experience in Textile Merchandising Job (experience in home textiles division is a plus). - Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP software. - Willingness to embrace change, learn new skills, and work under pressure. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to multitask with attention to detail. - Team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
