Role Description

This is a contract role for a Test Manager. The Test Manager will be responsible for overseeing the testing processes, developing test strategies, managing test teams, conducting test planning, and ensuring quality assurance. The role involves both on-site and remote work, with the primary location in Gurugram. Hybrid work arrangements are available, allowing some work from home.

Notice Period – 0 to 10 days

Working Model - Hybrid (3 days work from office)

Domain: Insurance + Digital Transformation

Skillset-Test Strategy, Test Management Tool (Jira + Xray/Zephyr), Test Automation (Selenium), Project Management experience.

Job Responsibilities:

* Define and implement test strategies, plans, and execution approaches for projects for digital apps. - web, mobile, api. Alignment with overall Testing Center of excellence enterprise quality framework and ways of working.

* Multi-stream delivery management: Lead the testing team, ensuring efficient collaboration and resource management for multiple tracks for enablement and governance.

* Oversee end-to-end testing processes, including functional, automation, and performance testing.

* Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in testing.

Identify, document, and track defects to resolution.

* Collaborate with stakeholders, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure quality delivery.

* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.

* Managing the team of 10+ QA/QE and Test Lead/ Specialist.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

* Strong experience in software testing, quality assurance, and test automation.

* Expertise in insurance domain and digital transformation projects.

* Hands-on experience with testing tools like Selenium, JIRA, and TestNG.

* Stakeholder Management with business and digital technology teams.

* Manage and deliver high quality releases embedded in agile (digital apps enhancements) and product launches (life insurance products - ULIP, annuity, etc.).

* Continuous testing using Jenkins/GitLab and Automated Test suites.

* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Strong leadership and team management abilities.

* Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
