Title: Test Engineer 4

Location: Remote

Job type: Contract

Duration of contract: 6 months

Shift: Night (8:30 PM to 5:30 AM IST)

Key Responsibilities

Participate in the
design, architecture, and implementation
of software systems solving complex problems, including defining, scoping, and estimating stories and work artifacts.
Ensure delivery of
high-quality, scalable, maintainable, and well-tested code
.
Design and implement automated test systems
for Supply Chain and warehouse management platforms.
Develop and maintain
end-to-end, integration, regression, and performance test suites
using tools such as
Playwright, Selenium, and Cypress
.
Collaborate with QA and DevOps teams to integrate automated tests into
CI/CD pipelines
.
Document software and test designs clearly and thoroughly.
Provide on-call support for systems owned by the team.

Required Qualifications

7+ years of professional hands-on experience delivering quality software.
Strong proficiency in
Java
and the
Spring Boot
framework.
Experience with
automated testing frameworks
(e.g., Playwright, Selenium, Cypress).
Proven experience developing
test automation systems
for enterprise applications.
Familiarity with
messaging technologies and streaming platforms
(Kafka).
Experience with
RESTful architecture
and
microservices
.
Proficiency with
cloud technologies
(AWS, Kubernetes); GCP is a plus.
Experience with
modern infrastructure tools and pipelines
(GitLab, CI/CD, Terraform).
Strong understanding of
test automation at all levels
(unit, integration, regression, performance/load).
Familiarity with
logging and monitoring tools
(New Relic, Splunk).
Ability to
articulate and architect well-designed systems
.
Familiarity with
relational databases
is a plus.
Experience in
Supply Chain
or
warehouse management systems
is highly desirable.
