Job Summary Join our customer's team as a Test Engineer, where you'll play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality software through robust test automation. Leverage your expertise in Python, SQL, and Selenium to ensure efficient, reliable, and scalable testing solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Python and Selenium to validate application functionality and performance. Analyze system requirements and collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage. Develop, implement, and maintain automation frameworks to streamline regression, integration, and end-to-end testing processes. Write and optimize SQL queries for validating data integrity and conducting backend testing. Document and communicate detailed test plans, test cases, and defect reports, demonstrating strong verbal and written communication skills. Continuously identify and implement improvements to increase testing efficiency and maintainability. Troubleshoot, analyze, and report on issues, ensuring swift resolution and minimal impact on software quality. Required Skills and Qualifications Strong programming proficiency with Python, including developing, debugging, and optimizing scripts. Advanced hands-on experience with Selenium for automation testing of web applications. Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries for comprehensive backend testing. Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, test automation frameworks, and QA best practices. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a passion for clear, effective collaboration and documentation. Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a cross-functional, hybrid team. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in Agile or Scrum-based development environments. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests in the development lifecycle.
