Job Title: Senior Test Engineer – Cypress with JavaScript Experience: 8+ Years Location: PAN INDIA Employment Type: Full-Time Job Description: We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Test Engineer with a strong background in Cypress , JavaScript , and modern testing practices. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of software testing methodologies, automation frameworks, and experience in API testing and defect tracking tools. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress and JavaScript . Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define test strategies. Conduct API testing using Postman , including validating endpoints, parameters, and authentication. Log, track, and manage bugs using Jira , ensuring high-quality delivery. Work with GitHub for source control, branching, code reviews, and CI/CD integration. Perform regression, integration, system, and exploratory testing. Identify areas of improvement in testing processes and drive test automation best practices. Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to test planning and documentation. Required Skills: 8+ years of experience in QA/Software Testing. Strong hands-on experience with Cypress and JavaScript for UI test automation. Solid knowledge of Postman for RESTful API testing. Proficiency in using Jira for defect tracking and test management. Experience with GitHub for version control and collaboration. Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and documentation abilities. Good to Have: Experience in performance or security testing. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions). Exposure to BDD frameworks like Cucumber or Mocha. Show more Show less
