We are looking for a detail-oriented Test Engineer with strong analytical and problem-solving skills to join our QA team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in creating and executing test cases, identifying bugs, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to understand testing needs.
Create, review, and execute detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, compatibility, usability, and exploratory testing.
Report defects with clear steps to reproduce and track them to closure.
Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to ensure product quality.
Validate fixes and ensure resolved issues do not impact existing functionality.
Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and QA reviews.
Work with tools like Jira, TestRail, or similar defect/test management systems.
Contribute to continuous process improvement in QA practices.
Ensure adherence to project timelines and QA best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
2+ years of hands-on experience in Manual Testing.
Working knowledge of Automation Testing.
Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.
Good knowledge of writing clear, comprehensive test cases and test scenarios.
Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman) is an advantage.
Experience testing web and mobile applications.
Ability to identify, document, and track defects effectively.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Good-to-Have Skills

Exposure to SQL for data validation.
Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
