As a Territory Sales Manager - Mass Retail at Airtel, you will be at the forefront of the business for an entire territory, responsible for driving sales and ensuring end-to-end customer service. Your role will involve increasing market share, revenue, and executing the Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy. Additionally, you will engage with channel partners to enhance business for Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) mass retail. You will lead a team of 6 to 7 direct reports and indirectly supervise another 6 to 7 employees. Your key responsibilities will include: Sales Management: - Drive revenue growth by focusing on new and existing channel partners. - Optimize the sales and distribution network to enhance market penetration. - Strengthen the distribution ecosystem through increased Below-The-Line (BTL) activities and effective coverage. - Ensure brand visibility through organized merchandising activities. Customer Experience: - Implement processes to enhance overall customer experience and satisfaction. - Ensure compliance with policies and processes by channel partners. - Lead the timely closure of service requests and handle complaints effectively. Stakeholder Management: - Manage and expand the channel/distributor network through incentives and grievance redressal. - Form partnerships and train partners on product features and sales techniques. - Implement relationship management programs and negotiate agreements with partners. People Management: - Lead the territory team and update their knowledge base. - Coordinate between mass retail Zonal/Area managers of sales and service. - Provide training for team member development. - Maintain strong connections at all levels across the organization. Requirements: - Full-time graduate degree, MBA/PGDM (optional). - 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in Telecom/FMCG. - Proficiency in sales and marketing techniques. - Basic knowledge of MS Office tools.
