Job Description

We’re Hiring | Teradata Developer I Remote

Australia-based company

Experience:

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain Teradata applications, scripts, and stored procedures.
Develop & optimize SQL queries, BTEQ scripts, macros for large datasets.
Build & manage ETL processes (Informatica, DataStage, Python, etc.).
Ensure data integrity, consistency, and availability across environments.
Collaborate with data architects & analysts to support BI/reporting needs.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production/test environments.

Required Skills & Experience:

✔ 5+ years of Teradata development experience

✔ Strong SQL, BTEQ, FastLoad, MultiLoad, TPT, TPump

✔ ETL tools (Informatica, DataStage, Talend, etc.)

✔ Unix/Linux shell scripting

✔ Data modeling (3NF, star schema, snowflake)

✔ Performance tuning & query optimization

✔ BI tools knowledge (Tableau, Power BI, MicroStrategy)

Nice to Have:

⭐ Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP – Teradata Vantage)

⭐ Python, Spark, Big Data frameworks

⭐ Agile methodology exposure

⭐ Teradata certification(s)
