Data Integration Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain

  ETL workflows

  using

  Informatica PowerCenter

  , including source-to-target mappings, transformations, and performance tuning.
• Design and implement

  data integration solutions

  to support enterprise data warehousing and analytics platforms.
• Write and optimize

  complex SQL queries and stored procedures

  in

  Teradata

  for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
• Utilize

  Teradata utilities

  such as

  BTEQ, MLOAD, and FLOAD

  for efficient data loading and batch processing.
• Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver reliable solutions.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across systems through validation and reconciliation processes.
• Provide support for

  reporting tools

  and dashboards, with exposure to BI platforms such as

  Power BI

  ,

  Looker

  , or similar.
• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Teradata

  : Strong hands-on experience with Teradata, including BTEQ, MLOAD, FLOAD, and stored procedures.

• SQL

  : Proficient in writing and debugging complex SQL queries for large-scale data environments.

• Informatica PowerCenter

  :
• Experience in developing mappings, sessions, workflows, and scheduling jobs.
• Knowledge of performance tuning and error handling in Informatica.
• Familiarity with repository management and version control.

• Data Warehousing

  : Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and ETL best practices.

• BI Tools

  : Exposure to reporting tools such as Power BI, Looker, Tableau, or similar, is additional skill

• Communication

  : Strong communication skills with the ability to gather and clarify requirements from business users.

• Agile Methodology

  : Experience working in Agile teams and delivering solutions in iterative cycles.

Preferred / Good to Have:

• Python

  : Basic knowledge of Python for scripting and automation.

• GCP

  : Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform and its data services (e.g., BigQuery, Dataflow).

• Retail Domain

  : Understanding of retail business processes and data models is a plus.
