Tendering Manager

Role Summary

The Manager Tender will be responsible for end-to-end tender lifecycle management from opportunity identification to bid submission and post-award documentation. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in government and private sector tendering, with a sharp eye for compliance, documentation, and commercial viability.

Job Responsibilities

• Tender Identification & Evaluation

• Proactively search and filter relevant tenders at GEM or any other E-platform
• Conduct feasibility analysis and risk assessment of tender opportunities

• Documentation & Compliance

• Prepare and compile tender documents in line with client specification whether Govt or Private sectors
• Ensure timely submission with complete statutory and technical documentation
• Coordinate with internal departments for certifications, inspections, and approvals

• Bid Management

• Lead the bidding process including pricing strategy, technical inputs, and commercial terms
• Liaise with finance and legal teams for Bank Guarantees, EMDs, and contractual obligations

• Post-Tender Activities

• Manage invoicing, client follow-ups, and documentation for awarded tenders
• Maintain MIS and dashboards for tender status, win/loss ratios, and financial impact

• Stakeholder Coordination

• Interface with government bodies, consultants, and certifying agencies
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and finance teams for seamless execution

Desired Candidate Profile

Graduate (Mandatory); MBA preferred

Experience 710 years in Tender Management

Industry Exposure Iron & Steel or mining industry of coal or coke.

Skills Tender search, bid preparation, documentation, inspection, certification, invoicing, BG handling

Tools & Platforms Familiarity with e-tender portals like GEM, SAP HANA MS Office
