The Opportunity
Lead and develop the Tender Engineering function across the HUB APMEA PL PT organization, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, competitive, and timely quotations. Drive standardization, collaboration, and continuous improvement across multiple factory teams, while fostering a culture of safety, innovation, and customer focus.
How You Will Make An Impact
- Lead and manage the HUB Tender Engineering team to ensure timely, safe, and high-quality delivery of quotations.
- Build a unified HUB team by integrating multiple factory-based tender engineering teams.
- Ensure availability of skilled and trained tender engineering resources.
- Standardize quotation processes and tools, including templates, guidelines, costing sheets, and documentation.
- Drive competitiveness and productivity through engineering initiatives such as benchmarking and cost-saving projects.
- Maintain data quality in quotation tools (e.g., MS Teams).
- Achieve all agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, gather feedback, and deliver innovative solutions.
- Collaborate with Application Engineering to identify new business opportunities and represent the organization at client events and conferences.
- Identify and manage business risks while maximizing opportunities.
- Work closely with Procurement & Logistics to ensure timely availability of materials, services, and components.
- Develop and improve engineering processes, policies, and procedures for greater efficiency.
- Oversee risk and opportunity assessments (EoC) and lead implementation of mitigation actions.
- Guide, coach, and develop the tender engineering team to enhance skills and competencies.
- Prepare and manage financial plans and budgets for the tender engineering function.

Your Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree is an advantage.
- 15 years of experience in the transformer industry, with a background in design, engineering management, or product development.
- Strong knowledge of engineering tools, processes, and technologies, including TrafoStar.
- Proven leadership skills with a collaborative and solution-oriented mindset.
- High commitment to safety and adherence to workplace safety standards.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for continuous learning and innovation.
