Telesales Executive

## Role summary The Telesales Executive is responsible for converting online and inbound leads into profitable sales for home interior products such as plywood, modular kitchens, doors, wall panels, and flooring, through phone, WhatsApp, and other digital channels. The role focuses on understanding customer requirements, product recommendation, price negotiation, and booking orders or appointments for site visits and design consultations. ## Key responsibilities - Handle inbound enquiries from website, social media, marketplace listings, and ads; respond quickly via calls, WhatsApp, and email.   - Make outbound calls to warm and cold leads to educate them about product options (plywood, modular kitchen, doors, panels, flooring) and push them forward in the sales funnel.   - Understand customer requirements: site size, budget, design preferences, timelines, and material specifications; capture these accurately in CRM.   - Explain product features, grades, warranties, pricing, and available offers or finance schemes in simple language and build trust.   - Share catalogues, designs, quotations, and proposals over WhatsApp/email and follow up systematically until closure.   - Coordinate with showroom/field sales, design, and installation teams to schedule store visits, site visits, and measurements.   - Prepare and update basic quotations in coordination with the sales/estimation team and negotiate to close orders within given discount authority.   - Maintain accurate records of all calls, leads, follow‑ups, quotations, and closures in CRM or Excel as per company process.   - Achieve daily/weekly call targets, lead conversion targets, revenue targets, and appointment/meeting targets as defined.   - Collect customer feedback and share inputs on frequently asked questions, objections, competitor pricing, and market trends to marketing and product teams.   - Ensure high customer satisfaction by providing clear communication on delivery timelines, installation schedules, and after‑sales support contacts.   ## Required qualifications & experience - Education: 12th pass; graduation in any stream preferred.   - Experience:Freshers or experienced in telesales/inside sales; experience in home interiors, building materials, plywood, laminates, hardware, kitchens, furniture, or real‑estate is an added advantage.   - Language: Fluency in Hindi ; basic English communication preferred ## Skills and competencies - Strong telephone and WhatsApp communication skills with a clear and confident voice.   - Ability to understand technical details of interior products (ply grades, laminate types, carcass/shutter, hardware, flooring specs) after training and explain them to customers.   - Proven ability to persuade, handle objections, and close sales in a target‑driven environment.   - Good listening skills and solution‑oriented approach with focus on customer needs and budget.   - Basic computer skills: CRM usage, MS Excel, email, and WhatsApp web; comfort working with leads from different online platforms.   - Discipline in follow‑ups, documentation, and time management; positive attitude and willingness to learn. ## KPIs / performance metrics - Number of calls made and answered per day.   - Lead qualification rate and lead‑to‑opportunity conversion.   - Online enquiry‑to‑order conversion percentage.   - Revenue generated / margin per month.   - Number of showroom/site appointments scheduled and completed.   - Customer satisfaction (feedback ratings, repeat orders, referrals).
