Job Title: Tele-counsellor Location: Amity University Hyderabad - Shamshabad Department: Admissions & Outreach Employment Type: Full-Time

The role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to meet targets, and a customer-centric approach. Key Responsibilities:

1. Outbound Calling & Counselling • Conduct high-volume, target-based outbound calls to prospective students and parents. • Provide accurate information about university programs, admission procedures, eligibility criteria, campus facilities, and career prospects. • Address queries professionally and guide students through the application and enrolment process.

2. Lead Management & Follow-up • Generate, qualify, and nurture leads through systematic follow-up using phone calls, emails, and messaging platforms. • Maintain timely and consistent communication with prospective students to enhance conversion rates. • Track the status of leads and update the CRM or internal systems regularly.

3. Admission Support • Assist students in completing the application process and submitting required documents. • Coordinate with the admissions team regarding candidate status, evaluations, and interview schedules. • Support in organizing webinars, counselling sessions, and events to engage prospective students.

4. Reporting & Performance Tracking • Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly call and conversion targets assigned by the admissions team. • Prepare and submit reports on lead status, conversions, and progress metrics. • Identify trends and share feedback to improve lead quality and outreach strategies.

Required Qualifications & Skills Education: • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. A background in counselling, marketing, or education is an added advantage. Experience: • 3+ years of experience in tele calling, tele counselling, admissions counselling, or similar roles (preferably in the education sector). Skills & Competencies: • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills. • Strong persuasive, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities. • Ability to work under targets and manage time efficiently. • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools. • Fluent in English and Hindi; knowledge of regional languages (Telugu) is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹23,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
