Job Description: Telecaller for Loan Recovery Position Title: Telecaller – Loan Recovery Department: Collections Location: Banglore Reports To: Team Leader Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Telecaller for Loan Recovery to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for contacting borrowers who have defaulted on their loan payments, negotiating repayment terms, and ensuring the timely recovery of dues. The role requires excellent communication skills, persistence, and an understanding of financial products and loan recovery processes. Key Responsibilities: Contacting Defaulters: Make outbound calls to loan defaulters (personal loans, credit cards, etc.) to remind them of their overdue payments. Discuss the reasons for default, assess the borrower's financial situation, and explore possible solutions. Negotiating Repayment Plans: Negotiate and finalize repayment arrangements with borrowers based on their repayment ability. Suggest and offer suitable loan restructuring options, including rescheduling or settlement plans. Providing Information: Explain loan terms, interest rates, fees, and recovery policies to borrowers. Inform borrowers of the consequences of continued non-payment, including legal action or credit score impact. Maintaining Records: Accurately document all interactions with borrowers in the system, including payment commitments and outcomes of discussions. Keep detailed records of agreements made and follow up accordingly. Follow-Up: Conduct follow-up calls to borrowers who have committed to repayment, ensuring payments are made as agreed. Send reminders through calls, SMS, or email if necessary. Escalation and Reporting: Escalate cases of non-payment to the supervisor or legal department when required. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on collection progress and overdue loan accounts. Customer Relationship Management: Maintain professionalism and courtesy during calls, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering positive relationships. Address borrower queries and concerns promptly. Key Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience in Tele-calling, sales, or collections (preferably in loan recovery or financial services). Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written). Strong negotiation skills and ability to handle objections. Basic understanding of financial products and loan structures. Ability to remain calm and empathetic while dealing with stressed or upset customers. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems. Detail-oriented with excellent record-keeping skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet targets. Preferred Qualifications: Intermediate and Above. Experience in recovery of personal or commercial loans.
