Tele marketing HOD

*Job Summary*

The Head of Department (HOD) for Telemarketing in the hand/power tool industry leads outbound/inbound sales teams, driving revenue through lead generation, B2B/B2C relationship management, and product promotion. They define sales strategies, set targets, monitor KPIs, and ensure CRM accuracy. Key duties include training staff on tool specifications and managing dealer networks.

*Key Responsibilities*

*Strategic Leadership* : Develop and implement telemarketing strategies and campaigns for new and existing tool product lines.

*Target Achievement* : Ensure the team meets or exceeds daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.

Lead Generation & Management: Oversee the generation, qualification, and management of leads through CRM.

*Team Development*: Train and mentor telecallers on product technical specifications, handling objections, and closing techniques.

*Performance Monitoring*: Track KPIs (call volume, conversion rates, Average Order Value) and provide regular reports to senior management.

*Client Relationship Management*: Build lasting relationships with dealers and industrial clients to ensure repeat business.

*Process Improvement*: Optimize calling scripts and workflows to improve productivity.

*Required Skills and Qualifications*

*Experience*: Proven experience (5-8+ years) in B2B telemarketing or sales, with preference for background in hardware, industrial tools, or machinery.

*Industry Knowledge*: Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, or industrial equipment.

*Leadership*: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team to reach targets.

*Communication*: Excellent negotiation, persuasion, and communication skills.

*Technical Proficiency*: Strong proficiency in CRM software and MS Office.
