Technical Support Engineer

Required Experience: Min 5+ years of experience in network operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting Routing, Switching, and Network Security.

Mandatory Skill Sets:

- Knowledge and understanding of technical experience: IP routing, switching, firewall, and network automation techniques/solutions.

- Knowledge of Cisco switching (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, VTP, STP, Trunking, HSRP, Stack, ACL, VRF, Snooping, etc.).

- Knowledge on Nexus Switching VDC, VPC, FEX, ACI, etc.

- Familiarity with Palo Alto models, capabilities, and architectures. Configure, administer, and document firewall infrastructure – Palo Alto, FortiGate.

- Manage corporate Palo Alto Firewall implementing security rules and mitigating network attacks.

- Knowledge of IDS/IPS Software blades and Threat Monitoring.

- Knowledge and understanding of network device security and hardening best practices.

- Configure and Maintain wireless networks with Aruba networks.

- Solid understanding of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) principles, practices, and processes.

Good to Have: Certifications like CCNP or CCIE and Firewall/Palo Alto.

Additional Responsibilities / Added Advantage:

- Experience with transports, protocols, routing, SDWAN/SDN, AAA/NAC.

- Experience in Security Operation Centre, SIEM Engineer, Endpoint Security, Incident Vulnerability Management, patch management, Cloud Security Solutions, Data Privacy, and Information Security Auditing.

- Experience with Carbon Black, Data Loss Prevention (Symantec/Forcepoint/Digital Guardian DLP), Anti-virus (Symantec Endpoint Protection), and Encryption Solutions.

- Host Intrusion Detection/Prevention, Email Security Systems, Network VAPT, Cloud Security, and Data Privacy.
