Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Sales Responsibilities (Full-Cycle)

  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across target markets.
  • Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline through proactive outreach and follow-ups.
  • Lead discovery calls to understand business pain points and buying criteria.
  • Drive sales presentations, negotiations, and contract closures.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
  • Maintain CRM accuracy to track leads, opportunities, and forecasts.
  • Develop relationships with key decision-makers and influencers

Technical Sales / Pre-Sales Responsibilities

  • Act as the technical authority during the sales process.
  • Translate customer requirements into functional and technical solutions.
  • Conduct demos, product walkthroughs, architecture overviews, and Q&A sessions.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to create accurate proposals, SOWs, and estimates.
  • Support RFP/RFI responses with clear technical explanations.
  • Validate feasibility and ensure proposed solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with client needs.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with marketing to refine messaging and industry-specific collateral.
  • Work with delivery teams to ensure smooth transition from sales to execution.
  • Gather insights from the field to guide product and service improvements.
  • Represent the company at events, webinars, and partner meetings.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • 3-8+years in Sales Engineering, Technical Sales, IT Consulting, or Solution Sales.
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Web & mobile technologies
    • Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
    • APIs integrations, and system architecture
    • Databases & DevOps fundamentals
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Proven rack record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience preparing proposals, solution documentation, and SOWs.

Preferred Skills

  • Background in IT services, SaaS, enterprise software, digital transformation, or cloud consulting.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery models.
  • Understanding of AI/ML, Data Engineering, or Analytics (bonus).
  • Experience engaging with mid-market and enterprise clients.
