Role Overview

Technical Recruiter

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with leaders and managers to understand hiring needs across the organization
  • Write clear, compelling, and role-appropriate job descriptions.
  • Source candidates proactively via LinkedIn, GitHub, job boards, community groups, referrals, and other creative channels.
  • Screen candidates (resume reviews + phone / video interviews), assessing both technical skills and cultural fit.
  • Coordinate and schedule technical interviews, ensuring alignment between candidate and interview-team availability.
  • Manage candidate communication: feedback, follow ups, and offer processes in a timely manner.
  • Build and maintain a talent pipeline for future hiring needs.
  • Track recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, source of hire, pipeline strength) and present recruitment status to leadership.
  • Continuously refine the recruitment process to improve efficiency and candidate experience.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Experience:

    2-5 years in technical recruiting, preferably in a high-tech / startup / scale-up environment.
  • Domain knowledge:

    Strong understanding of technical roles and relevant skillsets.
  • Sourcing expertise:

    Proficient in leveraging LinkedIn, GitHub, and niche platforms for sourcing technical talent.
  • Communication:

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate technical requirements to candidates.
  • Organizational skills:

    Ability to manage multiple open roles, interview schedules, and candidate pipelines simultaneously.
  • Metrics-driven:

    Comfortable working with data tracking hiring KPIs and driving improvements.
  • Collaboration:

    Ability to partner closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Adaptability:

    Experience working in fast-paced environments, preferably with a start-up mindset.
