Technical Project Manager

The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for driving the end-to-end delivery of a Java Spring Boot–based microservices telecom platform. This role involves overseeing technical execution, ensuring on-time delivery, managing cross-functional collaboration, and maintaining strong alignment between business objectives and engineering outcomes. The individual will also handle stakeholder engagement, delivery governance, risk management, and adherence to agile practices.

• Strong understanding of Java Spring Boot architecture and microservices lifecycle — including design, build, deployment, and maintenance.
• Proven experience managing delivery teams working on NoSQL databases, IBM MQ, and distributed systems.
• Hands-on exposure to telecom OSS/BSS systems, APIs, and related integrations.
• Solid grasp of Agile/Scrum methodologies with practical experience in sprint planning and backlog management.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, release management, and production monitoring tools.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Strong stakeholder management experience, with the ability to balance technical depth and business priorities.

• Certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., CSM, PMI-ACP) or Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2).
• Experience with containerized deployments (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Working knowledge of cloud-based architectures (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Project Delivery & Execution

• Lead the full project lifecycle for microservices-based telecom solutions — from planning and design to deployment and post-release support.
• Define and manage delivery milestones, ensuring timely and high-quality releases.
• Coordinate with architecture, development, and QA teams to ensure technical integrity and business alignment.
• Track progress and dependencies using JIRA, maintaining transparency across all project stakeholders.
• Manage risks and implement mitigation plans to ensure uninterrupted delivery.

Technical Governance & Quality

• Oversee the technical direction of the platform, ensuring best practices in design, coding, and deployment.
• Ensure compliance with coding standards, architecture guidelines, and security protocols.
• Monitor code quality metrics, test coverage, and observability through tools such as Kibana and Grafana.
• Support CI/CD pipeline management and enforce release governance and QA sign-offs.

Team Management & Leadership

• Manage, coach, and mentor cross-functional engineering teams to ensure productivity and growth.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies — daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews — ensuring sprint goals are achieved.
• Drive accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement within the delivery team.
• Contribute to resource planning, hiring, and competency development initiatives.

Stakeholder & Client Management

• Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for all client communication and delivery matters.
• Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure expectations are aligned and deliverables are met.
• Prepare and present regular status reports, delivery dashboards, and project insights.
• Be flexible to travel for client discussions, project reviews, and stakeholder workshops as required
