Overview: We are looking for a Technical Project Manager who understands the intersection of technology, eCommerce platforms (Shopify), SEO, and performance marketing . This role requires someone who can oversee project execution, coordinate between tech and marketing teams, and ensure timely delivery of web and marketing projects that drive business results. You don’t need to be a deep technical expert—but a working knowledge of Shopify development, SEO best practices, and paid media fundamentals is essential for understanding project scopes and guiding cross-functional teams. Responsibilities: 🛠 Technical Coordination Collaborate with developers to manage Shopify-based web builds, migrations, and optimizations Understand basic Shopify architecture, Liquid templates, and app integration flows Coordinate web performance audits and ensure site speed, responsiveness, and UX best practices 🔍 SEO & Content Projects Oversee execution of technical and on-page SEO initiatives Ensure SEO is considered in website builds, URL structuring, metadata, and performance Work with SEO teams to track KPIs and ensure deliverables are aligned with client goals 📈 Performance Marketing Integration Liaise with marketing teams to align campaign landing pages and tracking implementation Understand basics of paid marketing platforms (Meta, Google Ads) and analytics setup Ensure proper pixel, tag, and conversion tracking across Shopify stores 🧩 Project Management Define project scope, objectives, and timelines with internal teams and clients Maintain task tracking in tools like ClickUp, Trello, or Notion Conduct daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and review meetings Ensure timely delivery of tasks across development, SEO, and marketing teams Act as a key point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders Key Skills and Knowledge Working knowledge of Shopify (themes, Liquid, app ecosystem, store setup) Understanding of SEO (technical, on-page, and basic off-page principles) Familiarity with performance marketing terms, KPIs, and tracking tools Strong organizational and project coordination skills Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Trello/ClickUp, and Slack Qualifications Background in managing eCommerce or D2C brand projects Experience with Shopify Plus and headless frameworks (Hydrogen/Next.js is a bonus) Understanding of CRO (conversion rate optimization) and A/B testing
