Role Description
- DWS’s data infrastructure team provides the secure, scalable and trustworthy foundation for storing, processing and distributing critical enterprise data. As Technical Product Owner you will be responsible for modernizing DWS’s data landscape and enabling the organization to leverage data for better decision making and emerging use cases. You’ll be the key liaison between business stakeholders and engineers and take part in defining the product vision and roadmap together with your team.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Own the backlog and roadmap for one or more data platform capabilities
- Gather requirements from stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into detailed product requirements and acceptance criteria
- Create onboarding materials, best practice guides, and reusable templates to drive adoption of platform capabilities
- Partner with engineers and architects to ensure solutions are technically sound, aligned with business requirements and follow architecture standards
- Continuously engage with stakeholders to provide progress updates and gather feedback for continuous improvement
- Help defining and tracking metrics to monitor service performance, user adoption and business impact
- Lead agile ceremonies and coordinate cross-team dependencies
Your Skills And Experience
- 7+ years as a product owner, technical product manager or similar role in a data-centric environment
- Strong understanding of the modern data stack, including data platforms such as GCP BigQuery or Snowflake.
- Experience in working with infrastructure/platform teams in an enterprise environment
- Knowledge of data governance, security and the regulatory environment in financial services
- Ability to compile detailed product specifications, interface definitions, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams
- Strong problem-solving skills, strategic thinking and attention to detail
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
