About The Role
We are looking for a
Technical Product Manager (TPM) / Solution Architect
with a strong software engineering background who is ready to transition into product management. In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise to bridge the gap between engineering and business, while learning and applying the craft of product management. This is an exciting opportunity for engineers who want to step into product leadership, influence product direction, and drive meaningful impact on users and business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Product & Technical Strategy
- Translate complex technical knowledge into product opportunities and business value.
- Partner with engineering to ensure product features are architecturally sound, scalable, and efficient.
- Contribute to defining the product roadmap and help align it with business goals.
Execution & Delivery
- Manage product backlogs, user stories, and sprint priorities with a strong technical perspective.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to refine requirements, ensure clarity, and support execution.
- Define and track success metrics to measure impact and adoption.
Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as the connector between engineering, design, business, and customers.
- Translate user needs into actionable product requirements with technical feasibility in mind.
- Communicate product vision, trade-offs, and timelines clearly to stakeholders.
Customer & Market Understanding
- Engage with customers and users to uncover pain points and opportunities.
- Stay updated on technology trends, competitor offerings, and best practices in the product domain.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience as a Software Engineer / Developer (building products, APIs, systems, or platforms).
- Strong foundation in system design, APIs, microservices, or cloud technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think both technically and strategically.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- A strong interest in product management, business strategy, and customer-centric innovation.
Nice-to-Have
- Prior experience in product-related tasks (roadmap discussions, writing specs, or cross-functional project leadership).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices and product management tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.).
- Exposure to SaaS, e-commerce, or platform-based products.
- A structured transition path from Software Engineer → Product Manager, with mentorship and guidance.
