We consult, design and develop tailored solutions for the customer market, based on their specific technical and commercial constraints.

Our second mission is to professionalize, automate and standardize SE software development

• Supervise and coordinate software development and cloud solutions, ensuring alignment with Siemens Energy technologies and process guidelines.
• Develop concepts and architecture, as well as review existing solutions and define modernization proposals.
• Responsible for the quality and timely delivery
• Provide technical guidance for the agile development team.
• Create technical specifications and drive the refinement of new features and user stories.
• Support effort and budget estimations and guide different developer teams.
• Conduct risk assessments based on considerations for information security, data protection, and related regulations.
• Perform code reviews and work in a flexible, multi-functional, team-based development environment.

• A master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• 10 + years of proven experience in software development and software architecture
• Strong analytical skills, with a data-driven approach and proficiency in statistical analysis and programming languages such as Java. C#, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript and SQL
• Hands on experience on React or Flutter.
• A curious and passionate approach to problem-solving, building, and self-improvement.
• Accountability for outcomes, commitment to delivering high-quality results in a reliable manner.
• Deep knowledge of AWS and other cloud platforms, with experience in designing solutions; experience in the energy sector is an advantage.
• You are familiar with container technologies such as Docker, Podman, K8s
• Proven ability to work with multi-functional product teams and engage directly with clients.
• A customer-centric, open-minded attitude with a commitment to continuous skill development.
• Exceptional communication skills, with fluency in English and the ability to operate effectively in a global, multicultural environment.
• Knowledge of application/solution architecture principles and reference architecture.
• Familiar with REST, GraphQL, gRPC, SOAP, microservices, multithreading, multiprocessing.
• Experience with at least one public cloud provider: AWS, Azure, Google.
• Skilled in containers, orchestration, Domain Driven Design (DDD), Backend for Frontend (BFF) pattern.
• Experienced with API gateways, load balancers, cross-cutting concerns, service registry, and service discovery.
• Proficient in independent deployment, common software design principles, and patterns.
• Experienced in both static and dynamic languages (Java, Python, C#).
• Skilled in relational and NoSQL DBMS, data pipelines, and identifying bottlenecks between data storage and front end.
• Proficient in DevOps CI/CD practices, e.g., Azure DevOps, Terraform, etc.

In the central Digital Products and Solutions (DPS) organization , our Software Application and Engineering department is responsible for developing software solutions for both internal and external customers.

In DPS, our software products already cover a wide range of categories, and we see many opportunities for growth: Asset Performance Management, Energy Management, Asset Monitoring, Asset Health Prediction, Customer Portal & AI-assisted Applications, Connectivity & Edge, Backend Core / Domain / Platform Services, and Professional Services.
