Role Summary:

We’re looking for a proactive and experienced Technical Buyer with 7–10 years in procurement and supply chain, ideally from the marine or shipping industry. The role involves cost-effective and timely procurement of capital items, spares, consumables, and services for tugs, barges, and marine assets across various offshore/onshore projects.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Process and manage material requisitions/indents from vessels.

✔ Ensure timely procurement of spares, consumables, and services for marine operations.

✔ Lead vendor sourcing, evaluation, and negotiation for cost-effective solutions.

✔ Coordinate closely with vendors/logistics to ensure timely deliveries.

✔ Collaborate with vessel teams and internal stakeholders to align supply chain with operational goals.

✔ Implement cost-saving strategies and identify alternate sourcing opportunities.

✔ Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships.

✔ Resolve discrepancies and ensure adherence to procurement protocols.

✔ Share material status updates with indenters and relevant stakeholders.
