Technical Business Analyst

Responsible for client interactions at various levels of business users and IT admins, conduct and drive Requirements gathering, Gap analysis, Documentation, user story creation and user story grooming, guide development teams in bespoke developments and configurations. Also perform business validations, support client in UAT and go-live

• Plan Requirements workshops, Interact with client stakeholders
• Conduct and drive Requirements gathering and gap analysis
• Design functional solutions, prepare/review documents – IA, HLSD, estimations
• Review Test Scenarios, perform business validations
• Provide support during implementation to development teams, client teams
• Participate and support in User Acceptance Testing, Go-Live preparations
• Participate in Scrum discussions
• Support project managers

Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the application systems in operation, including tasks related to identifying and troubleshooting application issues, issues resolution and/or escalation.

Responsibilities also include root cause analysis, management communication and acting as liaison between other IT teams, subcontractors and 3rd party vendors.

Supports and ensure that production changes implemented are in accordance to the standard operation procedures.

Provides Level 2 application support for reported issues and resolve within the stipulated service level agreement (SLA), which include:

- Understanding of the issue,

- Conduct analysis and investigation to determine root cause(s),

- Provide corrective and preventive solution, and/ or,

- Escalate case to Level 3 or Technical Support for further investigations.

- Ensures smooth completion of application batch jobs.

- Work on improvements or provide proposals to address recurring issues, close monitoring gaps, and automate/reduce manual work.

- Supports production changes implementation to ensure smooth rollouts.

- Provide off-hours support including weekend on rotation, if necessary

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science or equivalent

Preferred Skills

• Minimal 2 years of experience in Application/Technical Support experience
• Knowledgeable of MS SQL, Dot Net (Must Have) & AWS (Good to have)
• Working experience in Unix/Linux, Shell scripts, SQL, Postgres DB
• Knowledgeable in at least one programming language (Preferably Dot Net (Must Have), Java, C# and JavaScript Development)
• Ability to work under pressure with a high sense of urgency

Additional Skills

• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Azure Platform is preferred
• Sharp and tenacious troubleshooting skills, a great problem solver with the ability to take system problem and structure an action plan
• Ability to work independently or with minimal assistance.
• Very good English proficiency
