🔹 Required Experience & Skills

8–10 years of Business Analyst experience (IT / Technical BA)



We are looking for an experienced Technical Business Analyst III with strong Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance and underwriting expertise to support medium to large-scale IT initiatives. This role partners closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to deliver high-quality solutions across the full SDLC.

🔹 Job Summary

As a Technical Business Analyst III, you will lead business analysis activities for complex projects and enhancements. You will be responsible for eliciting and documenting business and functional requirements, evaluating solution options, supporting testing and UAT, and providing subject matter expertise in underwriting systems and insurance processes.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

Lead business requirements gathering for projects and system enhancements

Elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements

Translate requirements into functional design documents and support technical design

Identify, evaluate, and recommend solution options, including feasibility and cost-benefit analysis

Act as a liaison between business users, IT teams, and vendor partners

Participate in the full SDLC including design, development, testing, UAT, and Go-Live

Support QA and UAT planning, execution, and defect resolution

Provide subject matter expertise in P&C insurance and underwriting systems

Support production issues, triage defects, and advocate for business users

Assist with training, user documentation, SOPs, and Quick Reference Guides

Support legacy system analysis and documentation (training guides a plus)

Contribute to process improvement initiatives to improve business results

🔹 Required Experience & Skills

8–10 years of Business Analyst experience (IT / Technical BA)

Strong experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance underwriting

Solid understanding of underwriting principles, processes, and insurance products

Experience working with legacy systems

Strong knowledge of SDLC methodologies

Proven experience writing business requirements and functional specifications

Experience with UI/design specs and wireframes

Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Visio, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)

Knowledge of UML and BPMN

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Strong stakeholder management and customer-service orientation

🔹 Nice to Have

Experience with underwriting software and insurance-specific platforms

Technical writing experience (training guides, job aids, SOPs)
