🛠️ Role Overview

As a Technical Artist, you will optimize art pipelines, develop shaders, improve workflows, and ensure technical consistency across characters, environments, VFX, and UI. You’ll work closely with Unity developers, 3D artists, and designers to maintain visual fidelity without compromising performance.

🧩 Responsibilities

Act as a bridge between art and engineering teams
Optimize 3D assets (characters, environments, props) for mobile performance
Create and maintain shaders (URP)
Set up lighting, lightmaps, reflection probes, and post-processing in Unity
Troubleshoot performance, rendering, and visual bugs
Ensure consistency in scale, materials, textures, and rendering quality
Assist artists in preparing game-ready assets for Unity

💡 Required Skills

Strong experience with
Unity (URP preferred)
Knowledge of
shader creation and material systems
Solid understanding of
PBR workflows
Experience optimizing meshes, textures, draw calls, and memory usage
Familiarity with
Blender / Maya / 3ds Max
Understanding of
mobile performance constraints

🌟 Bonus Skills

Experience working on
multiplayer or social games
Knowledge of VFX, particle systems, and animation optimization
Experience with
profiling tools
(Unity Profiler, Frame Debugger)
Ability to automate or improve art workflows
Exposure to stylized or semi-realistic visual styles
