3D Character Animator

As a Mid-Level 3D Animator at Vauxer Enterprises, you will be at the forefront of crafting high-quality animations for our next-gen 3D socializing platform, Vauxer Lifestyle. Your role will involve creating dynamic and expressive animations for avatars, collaborating with artists to maintain a consistent style, and optimizing animations for mobile performance. **Key Responsibilities** - Create high-quality keyframe and mocap-based animations for avatars (dances, gestures, poses, emotes, loops) - Rig and skin characters following industry-standard practices - Retarget, clean, and refine motion-capture animations - Collaborate with character and environment artists to ensure consistency in animation style - Set up animations in Unity, including Animator Controller, Retargeting, and IK - Optimize animations for mobile performance - Implement interactive avatar animations for social features in collaboration with designers **Required Skills** - Strong proficiency in Maya/Blender for animation - Expertise in rigging & weight painting (mandatory) - Ability to clean and polish mocap data - Deep understanding of body mechanics and animation principles - Experience with Unity animation workflows - Ability to handle end-to-end animation pipeline independently - 3+ years of professional animation experience, with a preference for gaming experience As part of Vauxer Enterprises, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment that values innovation, creativity, and technical mastery.
