Technical Artist

As a 2D Technical Artist in our team, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between artists and programmers. Your main focus will be to ensure the smooth implementation of the artistic vision of our games while optimizing performance across multiple platforms. Collaboration with designers, artists, and developers will be key to delivering engaging and visually stunning games. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with artists, animators, and developers to implement assets into the game engine (Unity). - Optimize assets (textures, models, animations) for better performance across platforms (mobile). - Troubleshoot and solve technical issues related to art asset implementation and performance. - Develop and maintain shaders and pipelines to improve workflow efficiency for the art team. - Work with programmers to ensure that artistic solutions are technically feasible and optimized. - Assist in creating technical documentation for art pipelines, tools, and processes. - Stay updated with the latest techniques and technologies in game development and share knowledge with the team. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in a gaming-related field, with specialized knowledge in technical art. - 1-3 years of experience as a Technical Artist in the gaming industry. - Understanding of real-time rendering, shaders, lighting, and asset optimization. - Proficiency in game engines like Unity. - Knowledge of 2D & 3D modeling software (Blender) and texturing tools (Substance Painter, Photoshop). - Familiarity with scripting languages (C#) is a plus. - Ability to balance the artistic vision with technical constraints and optimize accordingly. - Good communication skills and a collaborative team player.
