Junior Technical Artist

As a Jr. Technical Artist at our company, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between artists and programmers to ensure the smooth implementation of the artistic vision in our games. Your primary focus will be on optimizing performance across various platforms while collaborating closely with designers, artists, and developers to deliver visually stunning and engaging games. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with artists, animators, and developers to implement assets into the game engine (Unity). - Optimize assets such as textures, models, and animations to enhance performance on mobile platforms. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to art asset implementation and performance. - Develop and maintain shaders and pipelines to streamline the workflow for the art team. - Ensure that artistic solutions are technically feasible and optimized by working closely with programmers. - Assist in creating technical documentation for art pipelines, tools, and processes. - Stay updated on the latest techniques and technologies in game development and share knowledge with the team. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in a gaming-related field with specialized knowledge in technical art. - 1-2 years of experience as a Technical Artist in the gaming industry. - Understanding of real-time rendering, shaders, lighting, and asset optimization. - Proficiency in game engines like Unity. - Good to have experience with 3D modeling software (Blender) and texturing tools (Substance Painter, Photoshop). - Familiarity with scripting languages such as C# is a plus. - Ability to balance artistic vision with technical constraints and optimize accordingly. - Strong communication skills and a collaborative team player.
