Hummingbird is a software technology services company based in Pune that provides services to international clients. We build and maintain world-class e-commerce solutions for businesses worldwide on the Adobe Commerce (Magento) and WordPress platforms.

Technical Learning and Development Specialist / Manager

1) Learning and Development Strategy:

• Design and implement comprehensive learning and development programs aligned with the companys strategic goals.
• Conduct training needs analysis to identify skill gaps and develop targeted training initiatives.
• Create technical quizzes and evaluations to evaluate skill levels and competencies.

2) Program Design and Delivery:

• Develop and deliver engaging training programs, workshops, and seminars.
• Utilise various instructional methods (e.g., e-learning, classroom training, coaching) to enhance employee learning experiences.
• Assess the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.

3)Leadership Development:

• Create and implement leadership development programs to build a pipeline of future leaders.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to managers and high-potential employees.

4) Performance Management:

• Support the performance management process by designing tools and resources for goal setting, feedback, and performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with HR and department heads to ensure alignment of performance management with L&D initiatives.

5) Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Work closely with senior leaders and department heads to understand business needs and tailor L&D programs accordingly.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development across the organisation.

6) Evaluation and Reporting:

• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through metrics and feedback.
• Prepare and present reports on training outcomes and ROI to senior management.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline (Masters preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in technical training, software development, or IT program management.
• Strong understanding of programming languages, web technologies, and development frameworks (e.g., PHP, ReactJS, WordPress, Magento, etc.).
• Experience designing and delivering technical learning programs.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and people management skills.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or e-learning tools is a plus.
