Job Description

Job Title:

Experience:

Key Responsibilities:

Respond to direct and indirect customer enquiries and provide timely support.
Prepare quotations for standard and non-standard products.
Create comprehensive commercial offers, detailing pricing, payment terms, quantities, delivery timelines, and schedules.
Maintain regular communication with customers, providing updates on order status.
Collaborate with Manufacturing teams for feasibility reviews and risk analyses on new products or revised specifications.
Address customer issues and complaints, ensuring resolution within timelines and escalating major concerns internally.
Plan and monitor dispatches and manage accounts receivable.
Collect customer feedback and highlight areas for internal improvement.
Process sales orders in SAP according to customer schedules.
Issue delivery orders, verify invoicing, and track incoming payments, including advances or post-dispatch collections.
Prepare MIS reports and consolidate sales-related data.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, design, quality, and planning) to ensure timely order completion.

Key Metrics:

Achievement of sales targets.
Order fulfillment within agreed timelines

Education & Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Engineering or equivalent (required).
Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, or equivalent (preferred)

Skills & Experience:

Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the heavy equipment manufacturing industry.
Strong communication, coordination, and customer relationship management skills
Proficiency in SAP and MIS reporting
