Team Member - Project Execution

Purpose/Objective

We are seeking a seasoned Project Execution Manager with over 10 years of experience in managing large-scale energy infrastructure projects, specifically Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). The role involves leading end-to-end project execution, ensuring timely delivery, quality compliance, and alignment with organizational goals in the renewable energy sector.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Project Planning & Execution: Develop and implement detailed project execution plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies. Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction (EPC), and commissioning teams to ensure seamless project delivery. Technical Oversight: Provide guidance on installation, integration, and commissioning of BESS components (battery modules, inverters, transformers, switchgear, EMS). Risk & Issue Management: Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve execution challenges proactively. Budget & Cost Control: Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure cost-effective execution. Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to industry standards (IEC, IEEE, UL) and regulatory requirements for energy storage projects. Reporting & Documentation: Prepare progress reports, maintain project documentation, and present updates to senior leadership. Team Leadership: Mentor and manage project engineers, site managers, and contractors to achieve execution excellence.

Technical Competencies

Strong knowledge of battery chemistries (Li-ion, LFP, NMC), inverters, transformers, and grid integration.,Proficiency in Primavera, MS Project, or equivalent scheduling software., Deep understanding of engineering, procurement, and construction processes in energy projects.,Familiarity with grid codes, interconnection requirements, and safety standards for energy storage.

Qualifications and Experience

Experience: Minimum 10 years in project execution, with at least 5 years in renewable energy or BESS projects. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field. Master’s degree or PMP certification preferred.
