About the job: Key responsibilities: 1. Generate leads and develop new B2B partnerships across sources and channels including domestic and international institutions such as grant-making foundations philanthropic trusts CSR and multilateral agencies including via platforms on RFPs and grants 2. Own the function and process of lead generation pitching closures and onboarding of funding collaborations including business development and sales management 3. Maintain and grow these relationships year on year managing multiple projects and securing multi-year commitments 4. Lead as account manager on several large collaborations and nurture lasting relationships 5. Create and maintain best-in-sector client relationship management systems for donor partners 6. Oversee and keep donor plans and MoUs up to date including program progress fund utilization allocations and alignment with donor partners for reallocations using sound reasoning and analysis 7. Act as an effective spokesperson between the organization and each donor partner 8. Mentor junior resources and support onboarding of new team members 9. Manage and balance both external and internal priorities 10. Own the career frameworks reviews and growth plans for individuals based on skills willingness and organizational fit 11. Provide support as required based on experience and expertise 12. Ensure adequate manpower fund allocation accuracy and technology enablement for supporting teams 13. Play a key role in funding allocations financial and programmatic decisions and grant reporting 14. Understand and analyze costs and budgets and critically evaluate proposed program expenditures 15. Serve as the custodian of data and analytics related to program progress and monitoring 16. Organize project reviews at regular intervals and monitor program progress 17. Ensure timely and accurate acknowledgment of all grant income and maintain well-organized and up-to-date records 18. Collaborate with the FR Head and internal teams including Program and Geography Heads Finance and Monitoring & Evaluation for effective donor pitches and communication 19. Work with implementation teams on budgets and costing structure changes for donors 20. Support the Communications team with relevant information for social media posts donor-specific campaigns and events 21. Develop effective channels for internal and external communication showcasing milestones and success stories 22. Maintain and update funding trackers MOUs proposals and databases 23. Ensure timely accurate and transparent reporting to donors with a positive narrative of impact 24. Find effective ways to present and communicate outcomes and results in a positive and meaningful manner Requirements: 1. Demonstrate solid networking skills and strong relationship orientation 2. Possess experience in connecting with potential major donors and supporters 3. Exhibit proficiency in MS Office applications 4. Show strength in data and financial analytics along with strong research capabilities 5. Maintain entrepreneurial spirit with high energy levels and a passion to succeed 6. Bring experience in program or donor management in the social development space such as corporate foundations NGOs or social implementation partners 7. Manage complex projects effectively and in a timely manner 8. Preferably have experience in grant management or securing funding from multiple streams for charitable or NGO activities 9.
