Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Maintain harmonious relations between management and workers, addressing grievances. Act as a liaison officer to ensure effective communication and dispute resolution. Ensure compliance with labor laws on working hours, maternity benefits, medical care, and safety . Promote welfare programs, including canteens, rest shelters, creches, pensions, and financial aid . Facilitate training, literacy programs, and skill development for workers. Oversee leave regulations and worker benefits while guiding employees on policies. Encourage the formation of Welfare Committees, Cooperative Societies, and Works Committees . Improve housing, sanitation, education, and family welfare measures. Implement worker safety programs where a Safety Officer is not required. Qualifications & Skills: MSW from a recognized institution ; specialized training in counseling is a plus. Strong communication, crisis intervention, and conflict resolution skills . Knowledge of labor laws, welfare policies, and employee rights . Compassionate, empathetic, and culturally aware .
